This project aimed to create giveaway boxes for Hag El Laila, a traditional UAE celebration similar to Halloween. Inspired by three distinct elements of Middle Eastern culture, each box captures the spirit of Hag El Laila while celebrating the richness of Emirati culture. The first design draws inspiration from the intricate patterns of the Bastakiya architecture in the Fahidi district. The second design is influenced by the Sadu weaving technique, a traditional craft often used for weddings and special occasions in the UAE. The third design offers a modern interpretation of the traditional Arabic numerical system.
